Modular Laser Driver for External Cavity Diode Laser Systems
The MLD 1000 is a modular laser driver for external cavity diode lasers. It includes 200mA laser current source, 2A temperature stabilization, 120V piezo amplifier as well as various plug-in modules for different measuring applications.

The main frame of the MLD-1000 contains a toroidal transformer. This concept enables us to protect the function boards from most types of noise sources. Acceptable surge voltages are 230V/50Hz and 115V/60Hz. The power consumption is 60W.

active stabilzation module
and computer control module
Display Module:
The display module PI-1000-DP monitors all relevant parameters which are needed for controlling diode laser systems.
Laser Driver Module:
The laser driver module PI-1000-LD contains a 200mA laser current source as well as a 2A temperature controller.
Piezo Amplifier Module:
The piezo amplifier module PI-1000-PZ is a 10x amplifier which provides -20V .. 120V for the piezo actuator within the external cavity diode laser.
Ramp Generator Module:
The ramp generator module PI-1000-RG provides an internal modulation of the piezo amplifier module for pure frequency modulation of the external cavity diode laser.
Computer Control Module:
The computer control module PI-1000-RGC is a computer controllable ramp generator. It provides an internal modulation of the piezo amplifier module for pure frequency modulation of the external cavity diode laser via the RS-232 port of any computer.
