If you need to measure the energy from a pulsed laser, Newport\'s 818E Series Pyroelectric Laser Energy Sensors provide you with a selection that will meet the most demanding laser energy measurement needs.

Features

Variety of Sensors to Choose From

Short pulse, long pulse and fast acting pyroelectric detector versions are available with large square apertures of 12, 25 and 50 mm, to accomodate various beam sizes and characteristics. Choose from among air cooled for low power or heat sink versions for higher powers.

NIST Traceable Calibration

All the detectors come with a DB15 connector and internal EEPROM for storing factory calibration data, making them directly compatible with Newport\'s 1936-R and 2936-R, 1918-R, and 842-E-USB Optical Power and Energy Meters. When using with Newport\'s legacy 1835-C or 2835-C Power Meters, use the adapter cable 818P-DIN (ordered separately, see Accessories).

Compatible Power Meters

Refer to Newport Power Meter and Detector Legacy and Compatibility for a complete list of the power meters that are compatible with this model. Power meters are sold separately.
