Our FH-R Series optical filter mounts offer a convenient, economical, retaining ring system for mounting 0.5 in., 1.0 in. and 2.0 in. diameter filters.
The mounting system consists of a threaded holder with a Delrin retaining ring to hold the optical filter firmly but gently. The Delrin ring prevents damage to the optic while providing secure alignment of the filter to the face of the mount.
FH-R Series optical filter mounts have a set of M3 threaded and clearance holes located on the upper and lower face of the mount for ease in stacking. This allows the creation of multiple filter element assemblies. Two M3 Screws are included with each mount. The front of the filter mounts also have two clearance holes, which can be used for face mounting or used with a threaded rod (not supplied) to form low-cost optical filter systems.
FH-R Series mounts incorporate 8-32 and M4 threaded mounting holes for post mounting on English or Metric SP and MSP Series optical posts, as well as PS Series Pedestal Posts.
