Our Flip-up filter holder lets you quickly insert or remove filters in your experiment. Flip the filter up when you need it, and then snap it out of the way. Both thin and thick optics are held firmly, using either the threaded Delrin retaining ring or the standard set screw (both are included). In the up position, this mount locates the optic directly in line with and 2.0-in. (50.8 mm) above the mounting post. Stacking any number of Flip-up mounts is easy with a screw and nut. If you need to precisely align your optic, you may want to use one of our Flipper™ mounts (Flipper™ Optic Mounts).
