Newport’s NewStep miniature motorized linear actuators are an economical solution for motorizing mirror mounts, rotation stages, linear stages and other manual motion devices. They are ideal for remote adjustment of sensitive, hard-to-reach optical components which can be influenced by the compressive and torsional forces imposed by traditional manual adjustment micrometers. Typical applications include optimizing the alignment of a laser cavity, zeroing in on coherence lengths or just adjusting the pointing of a beam over a long distance. Vacuum compatible versions to 10-6 hPa are available.
The CONEX-NSA12 is a NSA actuator with the integrated CONEX-PP controller/driver and is pre-configured for the highest level of out-of-the-box control. The CONEX_PP is a very compact and inexpensive driver for Newport’s intelligent stepper motor driven devices.
The NewStep actuator\'s compact design (only 60 mm long x 30mm diameter) and standard interface is designed to be compatible with many Newport mounts and manual stages.We also offer the NSA12V6 and CONEX-NSA12V6 which are vacuum compatible.
