The NI USB-4432 bus-powered dynamic signal analyzer (DSA) provides a portable PC solution for taking microphone and vibration sensor readings with 24-bit resolution. The first four measurement channels have selectable IEPE, so you can use a variety of sensors. In addition, these Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS)-compliant channels can read calibration and scaling data from sensors with TEDS chips. Combining a USB-4432 with a TEDS sensor delivers a plug-and-play DAQ experience for the sensor. The fifth channel has 24-bit resolution, but it does not include IEPE or TEDS.
This DSA is an effective mobile solution for measurements when you need a large dynamic range. With an acquisition rate of 102.4 kS/s, the USB-4432 can be used for high-frequency signal analysis in most audio and vibration applications.
By using the USB-4432 with the NI Sound and Vibration Assistant, which is part of the NI Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite, you can achieve a quick and easy plug-and-play user experience while taking advantage of a high-performance, high-dynamic-range DAQ system. An evaluation of the Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite is available for download and is shipped with each device.
