The TS-510 is a calibrated NTC 10 kΩ leaded thermistor with a baked on phenolic coating for durability and long-term stability. These have solid nickel 30 AWG wires with Teflon insulation to provide insulation when assembled in a heat sink or plate with a lead length of 3 inches (76 mm). They are ideal for measuring the temperature of a laser diode or other component during testing. Better accuracy can be achieved with accuracies to ±0.05°C over the temperature range using the Steinhart-Hart model.
