The F-HB800G Polarization Maintaining Fiber with Reduced Cladding uses 80 um cladding polarization maintaining (PM) optical fibers, as opposed to 125 um cladding diameter. It is designed for optimal performance in fiber optic gyroscopes, sensors, and telecommunication component applications. The reduced cladding is engineered for applications requiring a tight bend radius with minimal bend loss. Its bow-tie stress structure provides high birefringence while maintaining excellent splice-ability to existing PM and single-mode fibers. Dual-layer, modified acrylate coating provides excellent ruggedness, improved static fatigue resistance, optical mode stripping and simple mechanical or chemical removal.
