The F-SM1500-7.8/80-P Polyimide Coated Single-Mode Fiber is an all-glass bridging fiber for reduced splice losses between sensor fibers and telecoms fiber with reduced cladding and supports single-mode light propagation for a 1550 - 1650 nm operating wavelength range. This low attenuation, step-index fiber has a uniform core refractive index and a matched-clad profile. It has a 0.15 to 0.17 NA, a 7.8 μm Mode Field Diameter, a 80 μm Cladding Diameter and a 102 μm Coating Diameter. Typical applications include sensors, instrumentation, device pigtailing, and light delivery. This bare fiber does not include a protective fiber jacket. Standard pricing is per meter.
