The F-SM800-4.2/80 Single-Mode Fiber is an all-glass fiber with reduced cladding and supports single-mode light propagation for a 830 - 980 nm operating wavelength range. This low attenuation, step-index fiber has a uniform core refractive index and a matched-clad profile. It has a 0.14 to 0.18 NA, a 4.2 μm Mode Field Diameter, a 80 μm Cladding Diameter and a 170 μm Coating Diameter. Typical applications include sensors, instrumentation, device pigtailing, and light delivery. This bare fiber does not include a protective fiber jacket. Standard pricing is per meter.
