The 77743 Grating Assembly is for use with the Oriel MS257™ monochromator and imaging spectrograph. This grating is installed by Newport onto either the 77706 Single Grating Mount or 77708 Multiple Grating Mount that can hold up to four gratings (ordered separately). The grating efficiency exceeds 20% over its entire operating range, with a peak efficiency of 60% at its blaze wavelength.

This grating may be installed into a new instrument or added to an existing instrument. Existing instruments must be sent to Newport for grating installation and calibration. During recalibration, the instrument is thoroughly assessed to ensure optimal performance and routine maintenance services are performed. The monochromator or spectrograph is returned with a Certificate of Calibration, guaranteeing the instrument meets or exceeds it specifications.
