The 5105 Nd:YAG Mirror is designed for use with high-power frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser beams. They have a reflectivity of greater than 99% from 0° to 45° at 532 nm for all polarizations and can withstand up to 3 J/cm2 in a 10-ns pulse. These mirrors are designed to reflect only in the green, and are perfect for use after dichroic mirrors or prisms that have already separated the doubled light from the fundamental. As with our dielectric and general-purpose metal mirrors, we chose Borofloat® 33 as a substrate material to keep your cost down while providing a high-quality surface finish. Because Borofloat has inhomogeneities in its refractive index, these mirrors are not suited for transmissive applications; we fine-grind the substrate backside to prevent inadvertent transmissions.
