The VPH-1-P Pedestal Post Holder has a spring-loaded brake shoe design which applies a constant force to 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) diameter optical posts even when the thumbscrew is loosened. This allows the orientation of an optical mount to be easily adjusted with one hand. This post holder is designed for pedestal posts and supports a minimum height of 1 inch (25.4 mm).
