The CONEX-AG-LS25-27P is a piezo motor linear stage integrated with a closed-loop piezo motor controller/driver. The compact Agilis AG-LS25-27P linear stage has a built-in direct read linear encoder enabling high position repeatability, for sample positioning, as an optics inserter, for focusing, etc. The innovation in this encoder technology allows the footprint to be maintained while delivering sub-micron bi-directional repeatability.
Based on the Agilis AG-LS25-27 linear stage, but featuring an innovative miniature direct read linear encoder, the linear stage is very compact, but is capable of 27 mm travel, and 0.2 μm MIM.
The CONEX-AGP closed-loop algorithm combined with the direct read linear encoder, provides a system uni-directional repeatability of 0.2 μm. For stability in-position, the user can adjust the dead band parameter that stops dithering when the stage is within a set position tolerance.
The CONEX-AGP is a very compact and inexpensive single axis motion controller and is delivered already pre-configured for the stage. The controller is accessible via USB, which also supplies power to the controller.
For OEM applications, an optional retainer to secure the USB and power cables is available. In addition, RS232 and RS485 communication is available at the board level.
