Fiber optic technology is put to good use in this instrument for inspecting hard-to-reach areas. Semi-rigid sheathed 0.5mm diameter glass fiber imaging bundle enables scope to bend around obstacles while maintaining shape. Imaging through the bundle occurs because fibers are aligned coherently-both ends retain position exactly relative to each other. Incorporates thousands of tightly packed fibers, but bends repeatedly to 3" radius without damage. Plus, 25X eyepiece offers near-infinite focusing range and wide angle image. Both scopes can work with C-Mount Video Coupler. Illuminated version has disposable light source handle (batteries included) and light guide adapter for use with 1/4" diameter fiber bundles (0.312" end-tip dia.) and illuminators. Accepts right angle viewing attachment, listed in matrix.
